Job summary

Reducto, Inc. is seeking a Founding Data Engineer in San Francisco to build our data infrastructure from the ground up. You will own the core data systems, pipelines, and the standards that ensure data reliability as we scale.

Turn data into a trusted source of truth across product usage, sales, and finance, partnering with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and GTM. This is a rare opportunity to shape data foundations at a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Have 5+ years of experience in data engineering with strong command of SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Experience building and owning data pipelines from end to end in production.
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse like Snowflake and building scalable data foundations.

Responsibilities

• Own core data systems (Snowflake, Postgres, Clickhouse) and guide stack evolution.
• Build and own pipelines unifying product usage, sales, and finance data across APIs and webhooks.
• Model raw data into clean, documented tables for company-wide querying.
• Ensure data reliability with tests, freshness checks, and lineage to define what "correct" means.
• Collaborate with Eng, Finance, Ops, and GTM on business metrics.
