Job summary

Agentic Commerce is seeking a Founding CTO / Head of Engineering in a flexible-location setup to own the technical vision and platform architecture. This 0→1 role requires deep systems thinking, hands-on execution, and founder-level ownership across commerce and AI interfaces.

You will collaborate with the founder to balance speed with durability, build trust, and establish an engineering culture capable of long-term defensibility and scalable growth.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience building and scaling complex platforms and systems.
• Proven 0→1 engineering leadership with growth to scale.
• Strong architectural judgment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Founder mentality: high ownership, decisive, low ego.

Responsibilities

• Define core technical strategy and platform architecture from first principles.
• Design and build AI-driven discovery, decisioning, and transactions foundations.
• Translate early thesis into working systems quickly with durable architecture.
• Hire and set engineering culture and standards from day one.
• Collaborate with product and GTM to shape what gets built.
