Job summary

Fabric is building the Agentic Commerce Infrastructure in San Francisco. We’re seeking a hands-on Product & Engineering Leader who will own end-to-end lifecycle, influence architecture, and move a lean team with speed and focus.

You will report to the CEO, partner with the CEO to set direction, and lead both engineering and product execution, delivering customer-valued outcomes in an AI-powered commerce landscape.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with product ownership.
• Experience leading engineering teams at 0-1 scale as Director/Head.
• Proven track record shipping production-grade B2B SaaS.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid change in early-stage environments.
• Experience owning product and engineering with outcome focus.
• Experience building AI-native/agentic platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a fast-growing engineering team, including managers and senior ICs.
• Partner with the CEO to set product, design, and technical direction and translate strategy into execution.
• Own end-to-end engineering and product execution for a lean, high-output team.
• Translate product vision into technical roadmaps and milestones tied to customer outcomes.
• Engage with merchants and partners to understand pain points and validate solutions.
• Drive delivery, reliability, security, and scalability of production systems.
• Lead development and deployment of cloud-native systems on AWS; oversee Docker/Kubernetes/CI‑CD.
