Job summary

Qualifications

• JD and active bar membership in a US jurisdiction; CA or NY admission preferred.
• Strong knowledge of liability caps, indemnity, IP, data and termination terms; AI tools in legal practice.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, vendor contracts, and other commercial agreements.
• Own client relationships and serve as a trusted commercial counsel with clear turnaround commitments.
• Spend 30-40% of your time turning negotiation positions and review standards into playbooks and AI workflows.

What We're Looking For:

• Approximately 5-8 years of commercial contracts experience, including in-house experience at a startup or tech company.
• A JD and active bar membership in a US jurisdiction; California or New York admission preferred.
• Strong knowledge of market terms for liability caps, indemnity, IP, data, and termination, plus experience with AI tools in legal practice.
• Base salary is $170,000 to $220,000 USD annually.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Remote within the United States, with San Francisco as the primary location.
