Job summary

The Diocese of Bridgeport’s St. Carlo Acutis Catholic Early Learning Network seeks a Founding Center Director to lead the flagship campus with a strong focus on Catholic identity, educational excellence, and strong operational stewardship.

You will recruit and develop the founding faculty, implement strategic priorities, and ensure alignment with diocesan standards, while fostering a joyful Catholic culture and family partnership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, Child Development, or related field.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in early childhood education.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing who embraces the mission of Catholic education.
• Meets Connecticut Office of Early Childhood requirements for a licensed child care center director.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational, operational, and spiritual leadership for the flagship St. Carlo Acutis campus.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, mentor, evaluate, and retain founding faculty and staff.
• Ensure licensing compliance, health, safety, and child protection standards.
