Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Preschool Center Director in Connecticut to lead a dynamic early education center. You will model best practices, ensure licensing compliance, and drive quality learning while supporting a diverse team of teachers and staff.

Responsibilities include staff sourcing and development, curriculum guidance, business operations like payroll and P&L, and engaging families through tours and community events to boost enrollment and program impact.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of center leadership/management experience (highly preferred).
• Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, plus any state guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and foster trust, rapport, and inclusivity with staff and families.
• Ensure center health and safety procedures meet licensing standards.
• Recruit, train, and coach a qualified staff; engage current and prospective employees.
• Guide teachers in implementing curriculum and engaging learning experiences.
• Drive enrollment and manage accounts; produce monthly P&L and payroll oversight.
• Organize tours and community events to raise awareness and enrollment.
