Blank Street, Inc. is launching its first Rhode Island location and seeking a Founding Cafe Manager in Providence. You will hire, coach, and inspire an exceptional team, set store culture, and establish Blank Street’s standard for customer experience in a new market.

You will shape the customer journey from day one, foster community connections, and lead with energy, care, and accountability in a fast-growing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role with ownership of store performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or fast-paced consumer business.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong operational, financial, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leader who can prioritize, delegate, and make decisions in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Shift Leads and Baristas, hiring, coaching, and scheduling.
• Own day-to-day operations including inventory, labor, and operational excellence.
• Create an engaging culture with emphasis on exceptional hospitality.
• Protect and grow café sales, profitability, and overall performance.
• Represent Blank Street in the local community and launch new initiatives.
