Job description

Why you should join us

Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. We are building a commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to take control of their content supply chain and launch campaigns at 100x the speed.

  • Rapid growth: Over the past year, we have partnered with some of the top life sciences manufacturers and now support 50+ pharma brands.

  • Frontiers of technology: We build applications at the frontier of AI, experimenting with LLMs and new frameworks to redefine what is possible in pharmaceutical marketing.

  • Top-tier investors: We have raised from Transformation Capital, Twelve Below, Virtue, and the founders of Datavant, Commure, and Paradigm to supercharge our growth and build an elite team of engineers and operators.

Building anything great requires commitment and dedication. We are looking for people with the fire to prove others wrong

About the role

We are looking for someone to be the tip of the spear for how Solstice grows. You will own the top of our funnel end to end: finding the right pharmaceutical marketing teams, working out who inside them actually matters, and getting them into the room. This is the first commercial hire many companies bury in a script and a quota. Here it is the opposite. You will sit next to our Directors of Partnerships on our biggest accounts, from large biopharma with multiple brands to emerging biotechs launching their first therapy, and you will help decide who we go after and how we win them.

This role blends research, outbound strategy, and hands‑on execution, with real influence over how our GTM motion is built. Sourcing and strategy are the same job here. The people who do this well are the ones whose outreach lands because they have done the work to understand the account, the brand, and the person on the other end of the email. Ownership scales quickly for people who show they can carry it.

Because you are the first person a prospect hears from, you learn faster than anyone what resonates and what falls flat, and that knowledge is worth a lot. You will feed it straight back into how we sell, what we say, and how our systems work. You sit at the entry point of the commercial org today, and you have a clear runway to grow into a senior GTM role as you prove you can own more.

What you will be working on
  • Own the pipeline. Source and qualify the right accounts and stakeholders across big pharma and emerging biotech, and keep a clean, prioritized funnel that senior leadership can trust.

  • Run outbound end to end. Build automated and personalized sequences in Clay and other GTM outbound tools, frame the value proposition sharply for each buyer, and iterate on what is working.

  • Book the conversations that matter. Get the right pharmaceutical marketing leaders into meetings, and set our Directors of Partnerships up to win.

  • Partner with senior GTM leadership. Work directly with our Directors of Partnerships on key accounts to map the org, identify the real decision‑makers, and shape the outreach strategy for each target.

  • Make the machine better. Own operational improvements to our CRM and outbound stack, from data hygiene to sequence design to reporting, so the whole team moves faster.

  • Build relationships that compound. Develop genuine rapport with important prospects and early‑stage customers, and become a trusted first point of contact for the accounts you work.

  • Own an internal workstream. At Solstice, we believe in being a jack of all trades; the people who do well are those who aspire to live outside the box. You can go deep on GTM operations, messaging and positioning, market research, or any other internal initiative of interest.

Some ideal traits we are looking for
  • 1–3 years in a BDR, sales development, growth, GTM, or similarly analytical and outbound-facing role, or a strong track record that makes the case you will be great at this.

  • Structuring ambiguity. You can take a broad target market and turn it into a prioritized list of accounts and people worth reaching, with a reason behind each one.

  • Sharp written communication. You can frame a value proposition in a way that gets a busy senior stakeholder to reply.

  • Comfort with GTM tooling. You are familiar with, or genuinely excited to master, outbound platforms like Clay and modern CRM and sequencing tools.

  • AI-native. You reach for AI by default and use it to do more, faster. You already fold LLMs and AI tools into your daily workflow, from research to writing to automation, and you are always hunting for the next place to apply them.

  • Operator mentality. You love building, improving, and streamlining processes in fast-paced environments.

  • Unreal organizational skills. You can manage hundreds of touchpoints across dozens of accounts without dropping a thread.

  • High work ethic and drive. You are hungry to build something great and have an exceptional work ethic.

  • Commercial curiosity. You have the ability to learn or master life sciences commercial strategy and want to understand why customers buy.

Pharma marketing or life sciences experience is optional. We would rather teach the industry to someone with hustle and judgment than teach hustle and judgment to someone with the industry.
