Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a founding backend engineer to join an early-stage healthtech team building clinical AI systems for healthcare payments. You will own core infrastructure and productionize new clinical intelligence capabilities into reliable production workflows.

You will build scalable backend services, automate browser interactions with payer portals, and design robust systems for large volumes of data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years backend software engineering experience with complex systems and infrastructure.
• Strong Python, microservices, and distributed systems experience.
• Experience owning and scaling backend infrastructure at a technically demanding company (data infra/fintech or similar).
• Ability to design and deliver backend systems end to end with hands-on coding.
• Experience with production ML/LLM systems, data pipelines, or orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale distributed backend systems for chart processing, claims, authorizations, denials, and healthcare integrations.
• Develop browser and computer-use automation to navigate medical record software and payer portals.
• Design reliable infrastructure for large volumes of scanned charts, PDFs, claims, clinical notes, and operational data.
• Build orchestration, queuing, retry, and observability systems for long-running workflows across healthcare platforms.
• Partner with research and product engineers to productionize new clinical intelligence capabilities and establish reusable engineering patterns.
