True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a founding product engineer to help build AI-powered tools for clinical research and patient recruitment in San Francisco. You will contribute across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, turning design into customer-ready features.

You will own projects from ideation to launch, collaborating with research teams and customers, and shaping product decisions while working in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1–6 years of software engineering experience building products used by real people.
• Full-stack experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with a track record of owning projects from design to launch and customer feedback.
• Experience with TypeScript, Python, Next.js, Terraform, AWS, and Docker.
• An undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering and computer science, mathematics, or a related field, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience at an early-stage or high-growth product company, or as a founder or founding engineer.
• Healthcare or life sciences technology experience is helpful, as are shareable side projects or an active GitHub profile.
• Ability to demonstrate coding skills without relying on AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve user-facing product features from design through implementation, deployment, and customer feedback.
• Develop systems that coordinate AI agents across patient recruitment workflows for clinical trials.
• Help build machine learning capabilities that match patient profiles with suitable trials and improve through real-world outcomes.
• Scale conversational AI across voice, SMS, and email while maintaining consistent, personalized interactions.
• Integrate the platform with existing healthcare systems, including tools that may lack public APIs.
• Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure to deliver product improvements end to end.
