Valerie is seeking a Founding AWS Cloud Engineer to build the infrastructure powering our AI-native platform. This 0→1 opportunity has you design, build, and scale cloud systems from the ground up, owning the architecture and technical decisions for years to come.

You’ll collaborate with product, AI, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure, from IaC and CI/CD to observability and production reliability, with a strong emphasis on automating repeatable,

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building and managing production infrastructure on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Route53, CloudFront, CloudWatch, load balancers).
• Experience with IaC using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
• Docker, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux, networking, monitoring, debugging, and incident management.
• Security-first approach to IAM, secrets, and infra security best practices.
• Experience building scalable distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Experience supporting AI infrastructure and ML workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure from the ground up.
• Own Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and engineering teams to ship features securely.
• Automate repeatable, secure processes for AI workloads.
