Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred in Athletic Administration, Sport Management, Education, or related field.
• NIAAA certification (Registered or Certified Athletic Administrator) preferred.
• Experience in interscholastic athletics administration or head-coaching leadership required.
• IHSA knowledge and Chicago-area athletics landscape a plus.
• College-preparatory, independent, Jewish day or faith-based school experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Founding Athletics Director overseeing eligibility, compliance, scheduling, coach leadership, safety, budget, and culture for a part-time program.
• Build policies, procedures, traditions, and partnerships to support long-term success.
• Ensure athletic operations align with IHSA rules and school mission; manage growth as enrollment expands.
