Our portfolio spans defense, AI, energy, and space — sectors central to American dynamism and long-term global competitiveness.

The role

We are building intelligent infrastructure across how we source investments, manage our portfolio, track commitments and capital calls, communicate externally, and run operations at scale. This role is newly created. The person who fills it will define what it looks like. The right candidate brings elite engineering ability, deep AI and automation experience, and enough curiosity about private markets to build without hand-holding. The challenges will be ambiguous and fast-moving. You must be both a teacher and a student — own the outcome, then move to the next problem.

What you’ll do

• Build AI-powered systems across investment operations, portfolio management, and firm infrastructure
• Architect automation workflows across data, CRM, communications, and publishing
• Translate business requirements into production-grade systems — independently, with high judgment
• Work directly alongside firm leadership on technology and investment decisions

What you’ll bring

• Strong engineering fundamentals — built things that work, in school, at work, or on your own
• Hands-on experience or serious interest in LLMs, AI agents, and automation
• Curiosity about private markets and how serious investment firms operate
• Clear communication; comfort in high-stakes environments
• Degree from a rigorous institution in CS, engineering, or a quantitative field

• 2–4 years building real systems; strong internships at tech firms, quant funds, or research institutions count
