About The Company
At VEED, we build an AI‑powered video creation platform that lets marketers generate branded videos in minutes.
Where And How We Work
We operate hybrid: our London and Amsterdam teams work from the office three days a week during the first six months, then one day a week with flexible choice.
About The Role
We are launching a new API business and need a Founding API Sales Lead to own revenue, shape the sales playbook, and build relationships with technical buyers. The role is 0→1, involves AI‑driven outbound, and requires a self‑starting, technically fluent professional.
What You Will Do
- Own the API revenue number and run the full sales cycle – prospecting, qualification, technical demos, commercial negotiation, and close.
- Build and operate an AI‑first outbound machine, using AI to source, qualify, personalize, and follow up at scale.
- Vibe‑code your own demos, creating integrations and bespoke demos against a prospect’s use case with AI coding tools and our API.
- Define the sales motion, qualification criteria, pricing, and packaging feedback, and build the repeatable process the next sellers will inherit.
- Run credible conversations with founders, CTOs, and engineering leaders at AI platforms, creative tools, and “engine‑builders” who want to build on our models.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, feeding usage, revenue, and qualitative insight back to research, product, and leadership to shape future offerings.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Core Business Sales, Customer Success, and Legal to close deals and onboard customers.
- Partner with the GM on ICP, forecasting, and the path from first dollar to the next pillar of VEED’s revenue.
What You Bring
- Proven 0→1 closing: you have carried and consistently exceeded a quota, preferably as an early/founding seller or a founder.
- AI‑first mindset: you already use AI agents and tools for research, outbound, and preparation, and you are excited by pushing those capabilities.
- Technical fluency: you can read API documentation, quickly set up integrations, and prototype demos with tools like Cursor, Claude, or Lovable.
- Commercial and quantitative instincts: you think in pipeline, unit economics, and revenue impact, and you can structure creative deals in an evolving market.
- Strong communication: you can negotiate with sophisticated buyers and explain value to non‑technical CEOs.
- Hands‑on execution: you handle prospecting, deck building, paperwork, and other tasks with ownership and pride.
- Bias to action: you move fast, operate with ambiguity, and prefer shipping and iterating over waiting for a perfect plan.
What We Offer
- Monthly subsidy programme – an allowance to spend on office furniture, childcare, gym memberships, or other personal priorities.
- Unlimited paid holidays.
- Home office set‑up – a fully equipped workspace with laptop, monitors, headsets, keyboards, and more.
- Mental health benefit – confidential support through the Spill partnership.
- Equity – stock options that let you share in the company’s growth.
