Job summary

adMarketplace is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build the trusted analytical data foundation that powers product decisions, experimentation, measurement, and self-service analytics across the company. You will be the founding hire for our Analytics Engineering function, shaping metrics, data products, and the one version of the truth.

As the lead for analytics engineering, you will hire and grow analytics engineers, establish standards, and drive data-driven decision making across teams using

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and dimensional/data modeling skills required.
• Experience building production analytical datasets across Databricks/Snowflake/AWS or equivalent data platforms.
• Experience with BI/self-service analytics tools like Sigma, Tableau, or data apps like R Shiny/Streamlit/ChatGPT Sites.

Responsibilities

• Build analytics data layer with datasets and models for core concepts in partnership with Data Engineering.
• Define and encode canonical metrics with cross-functional teams and maintain governance.
• Create datasets for product analytics, funnels, cohorts, adoption, and experimentation.
