Job summary

Agora is building a centralized USD‑pegged stablecoin platform and seeks a Founding Data Lead to build analytics from zero, define metrics, and provide high-visibility insights across the business.

You will map data across onchain, product, finance, and operations, enable self-service analytics for teams, collaborate with engineering to elevate data capabilities, and illuminate product analytics to guide growth and investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics, BI, or data engineering experience, ideally as an early data hire at a high-growth startup.
• Strong SQL with complex queries across joins, window functions, CTEs, and subqueries.
• Experience building dashboards and metrics frameworks (Metabase, Looker, or similar).
• Ability to translate messy business context into clean data models.
• Comfort with high-volume event data and tooling to process it (Spark, Databricks, ClickHouse).
• Clear communication with exec teams and data-driven recommendations.
• Knowledge of data orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
• Proficiency with a product analytics platform (Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog, Heap).

Responsibilities

• You'll build the analytics function from zero and own core metrics.
• You'll map data across onchain, product, financial, and ops to tell Agora's story.
• You'll empower teams with self-service analytics and partner with engineering to raise data capabilities.
• You'll bring product analytics to life across key surfaces to drive growth and investment.
