Job summary

Neuromorphic Labs is seeking a founding Principal Engineer to architect the product platform from the ground up. You will own the end-to-end architecture across distributed systems, spanning cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments, and collaborate directly with the CEO to shape the technical direction.

Qualifications

• 12+ years building large-scale distributed systems with high availability.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native platforms and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong production-grade Rust or C++ programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end architecture of a new platform, from core distributed systems to services and workflows.
• Design, build, and operate production-grade systems across public cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Set architectural bets on languages, frameworks, infra, and re-evaluate as we learn.
• Collaborate with early customers to translate requirements into platform capabilities.
• Use AI-driven development workflows to accelerate velocity and quality.
• Mentor other engineers and raise the bar for engineering excellence.
