Job summary

Camley, Inc. is seeking a founding full-stack AI engineer to build end-to-end products and shape agent architecture alongside the CTO.

You’ll own the core intelligence layer—LLMs for reading documents, a knowledge graph & vector DB, a calculation engine, and an orchestration layer for workflows that auditors can sign. We are a small team with bases in London and New York, open to remote or hybrid for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software.
• Strong full-stack fundamentals across frontend, backend, and infra.
• Proficiency in Python and building LLM systems/agent frameworks.
• Ownership and ability to ship features quickly.
• Experience with AI tooling and integrating language models.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate LLM-powered pipelines and build agents for multi-step workflows.
• Develop the agent harness: orchestration, tool use, retries, human-in-the-loop checkpoints.
• Own evaluations, audit trails, and observability of agent behavior.
• Ship features across React frontend and Python backend from schema to production.
• Collaborate with founders and early customers to map fund workflows to product.
