Job summary

Closr is seeking a technically adept customer-obsessed engineer in the San Francisco area for a hybrid, full-time role. You will own multi-week deployments, connect customer systems, and ship intelligent agents with prompts and evals.

Expect to work closely with customers, run discovery, write prompts, and measure agent quality while collaborating with product and platform teams to deliver scalable AI deployment experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in a customer-facing technical role with deployments end to end.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM agents with customers.
• Strong Python with FastAPI backend and React frontend.
• Experience at a venture-backed startup in an early-stage setting.
• Author of prompts and evals; able to measure agent quality.
• Based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate for hybrid work.
• US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of customer accounts through the six-week deployment cycle from kickoff to go-live.
• Embed with customers to map onboarding, adoption and renewals and identify value.
• Connect platforms to customer systems, set up SSO and data pipelines.
• Build and deploy customer agents, gather requirements and write prompts.
• Create evals to validate agent quality before shipping and iterate.
• Lead customer meetings alongside product and deployment teams; own technical credibility.
• Debug live deployments and perform root-cause analysis when agents misbehave.
• Collaborate with platform engineers on missing capabilities and own fixes.
