Job summary

Inventure is seeking a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer in New York City (onsite) to bridge customer data with production-ready agent workflows and drive real revenue outcomes. This early-stage role blends deep data work with customer engagement across two to three accounts, aligning business concepts with verified data models.

You’ll join a startup backed by notable investors and work on AI-native platform deployments for Fortune 500 clients, including onboarding and servicing engagements

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in forward deployed engineering, data science or customer-facing software engineering with end-to-end deployments.
• Proven production data pipelines or systems delivery without hand-holding.
• Deep SQL and data-warehouse fluency, able to map undocumented schemas to business concepts.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers end to end: scope data access, explore undocumented warehouses, and map chaotic schemas onto business concepts like churn, expansion and ARR.
• Build and validate the semantic and ontology layer; interview stakeholders and encode definitions into verified SQL.
• Deploy platform workflows and agent pipelines into customer instances and monitor for measurable revenue.
• Manage two to three concurrent customer engagements, collaborating with customer data and engineering teams.
• Contribute feedback on eval guardrails, validation frameworks and agent harness to improve tooling.
