Job summary

Dataland is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer in New York, NY to lead end‑to‑end customer deployments of applied AI. You will drive scoping, building, and deploying AI solutions across fintech, healthcare, trust & safety, and consumer domains.

You will own relationships from executives to frontline users, ship new workstreams, and contribute code that helps customers succeed and grow revenue. This is a ground‑floor role with founders and rapid growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering customer deployments in AI or software.
• Strong frontend/backend coding capabilities and deployments.
• Excellent communication with customers and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements end‑to‑end: scoping, building, and deploying state‑of‑the‑art applied AI to solve operational problems.
• Be the trusted face of Dataland for our customers: own relationships with executive stakeholders down to frontline users.
• Continuously ship new workstreams while expanding the impact of existing agentic AI products.
• Write code that makes our customers win and make money.
