Job summary

Nxt Level is seeking a Technical Co-Founder and AI-Native Engineering Leader to build healthcare technology from the ground up. This hands-on role focuses on defining the technical vision, delivering the initial product, and establishing a strong engineering foundation.

You will work closely with the founding team, engage with customers and healthcare stakeholders, and shape the engineering culture while growing the team as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Built from 0→1 and helped grow product from zero to meaningful ARR
• Experience as a technical founder or founding engineer
• Built or commercialized AI-powered products
• Experience operating in high-growth startup environments

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap from early stages.
• Build the initial product alongside the founding team.
• Design AI-native products using LLMs, agents, orchestration frameworks, retrieval systems, and agentic infrastructure.
• Prototype, test, and iterate based on customer feedback.
• Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing speed, scalability, reliability, and product-market fit.
• Establish engineering culture, development practices, and standards.
• Recruit and scale the engineering organization as the business grows.
• Collaborate with customers, operators, and healthcare stakeholders to translate problems into products.
