LuminX in San Francisco is hiring our first Account Executive to turn strong early customer demand into a repeatable enterprise sales motion. You will identify target accounts, run complex evaluations and pilots, close initial deployments, and expand across multiple sites.
You will build a playbook, prospect strategic accounts, walk warehouse floors, coordinate with IT and operations, and shepherd deals from first conversation through deployment while contributing to product feedback and
Warehouses still run on clipboards and barcode guns. Every day, pallets move through loading docks where people manually scan labels, count cases, and verify shipments—and when something goes wrong, it may not be discovered until after the shipment has left.
LuminX is changing that. We are building the Visual AI Layer for the loading dock: compact AI camera systems that read barcodes, labels, case counts, and damage automatically as pallets move at forklift speed. Our systems operate on-device and in real time, giving warehouse teams evidence of exactly what crossed each door without adding another step to their workflow.
We are already deploying with customers in automotive and cold storage and are growing quickly. LuminX has raised $5.5 million in seed funding from investors including 1Sharpe, GTMFund, 9Yards, Chingona Ventures, and the Bond Fund. Our team includes people who have built AI, robotics, and industrial systems at Amazon Robotics, Tesla, Nvidia, Waymo, and Voxel.
We are hiring our first Account Executive to help turn strong early customer demand into a repeatable enterprise sales motion. You will work directly with the founders to identify the right accounts, create opportunities, run complex evaluations and pilots, close initial deployments, and expand successful customers across additional sites.
This is not a role where you inherit a mature territory, a large inbound funnel, or a finished playbook. You will help build the playbook. You should be comfortable prospecting into strategic accounts, walking warehouse floors, understanding operational pain, coordinating technical and executive stakeholders, and staying close to a deal from the first conversation through deployment and expansion.
The ideal candidate has sold complex enterprise technology in a startup environment and understands that early-stage selling requires both discipline and resourcefulness. You know how to run a rigorous sales process, but you are also willing to write the first outbound message, prepare the demo, build the ROI case, travel to the customer, and solve whatever is blocking the deal.
Within your first several months, you will understand the product and customer deeply, have built a high-quality target-account list and active pipeline, and be independently running discovery calls, demonstrations, site visits, and commercial processes.
Over time, success means consistently closing the right enterprise customers, converting pilots into meaningful rollouts, creating accurate forecasts, and establishing a sales motion that future Account Executives can repeat. You will help LuminX move from founder-led selling to a durable, scalable go-to-market organization without losing the technical depth and customer focus that created our early traction.
You will be the first dedicated Account Executive at a company with a differentiated product, real customer deployments, and a large industrial market. You will work directly with the founders, have substantial influence over strategy and positioning, and see your work translate into physical systems operating at customer facilities. This role offers the ownership of an early-stage sales position without requiring you to sell an unproven concept. The opportunity is to turn early product-market evidence into a repeatable enterprise business.
