Position: Founding Account Executive

Location: Remote

Type: Full-Time

Compensation: On target earnings of $140k - $170k

Reporting To: Managing Director

The Opportunity:

We're seeking our Founding Account Executive - a driven, entrepreneurial sales professional excited to build something significant from the ground up. This is more than a sales role; it's a chance to shape and execute Wordibly's initial sales strategy, directly impacting our growth trajectory. If you excel in ambiguous environments, love working on new processes, can nurture existing clients, build new accounts, and have a knack for closing foundational deals, we want to talk.

What You'll Do:

· Own the Full Cycle: Drive deals from prospecting and lead generation through qualification, negotiation, closing, and initial onboarding/handoff.

· Manage Relationships: Nurture foundational client relationships to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify expansion opportunities.

· Build Sales Plays: Develop and refine messaging, and strategies for acquiring Wordibly's first key customers.

· Identify & Target: Pinpoint and engage high-value prospects within Wordibly's key industries, defining and iterating on the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

· Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with leadership and marketing/demand gen resources to shape campaign impact, drive pipeline and provide market feedback.

· Track & Iterate: Meticulously track activities and pipeline in HubSpot, using data to inform strategy. (experience is a plus, but not required)

Be Proactive & Adaptable: Thrive with autonomy, take initiative, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.

What You Bring:

· Proven Closing Experience: 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas, preferably in a related field. Experience in transcription/translation is a major plus.

· Full-Cycle Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process independently from initial lead generation to close.

· Enterprising Spirit: A proactive, self-starter mentality with a strong desire to build, experiment, and take ownership. Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change.

· Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust and rapport with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.

· (Bonus) SaaS sales experience and start up experience.

Comp & Growth: On target earnings of $140k - $170k, with a generous, uncapped commission structure designed to reward success.
