This role is remote and involves transforming veterinary practices nationwide. As a Strategic Account Executive, your focus will be on our Veterinary Decision Support products, building strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in large veterinary groups and corporate practices. Leveraging your veterinary background, you'll understand their needs and craft tailored solutions to enhance their operations and patient care. This is more than sales; it's about building trust and becoming a trusted advisor in the veterinary industry. What You’ll Do
  • Drive adoption of Instinct’s Decision Support products, focusing on Plumb’s and Standards of Care
  • Create and execute account plans for strategic veterinary clients to maximize revenue and foster long-term relationships
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within large veterinary groups and corporate practices
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and goals
  • Present and demonstrate our products, highlighting their value and addressing concerns
  • Negotiate and close complex deals, ensuring mutual benefits
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate with internal teams for seamless client experiences
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to management
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and regulations
  • Travel to client sites and industry events as needed
Who You Are
  • Must Haves:
    • Veterinarian (DVM) license with clinical experience
    • Knowledge of Plumb’s and Standards of Care products
    • Ability to travel as needed
    • Understanding of the veterinary landscape, especially large group practices and corporate organizations
    • Relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
    • Consultative problem-solving approach
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Self-motivated and organized
  • Nice-to-Haves:

Compensation ranges from $100,000 to $200,000, combining base salary and variable pay.
