Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support foundation-focused projects on construction sites. You will begin on-site with the crew to ensure daily needs are met, then handle documentation and planning to set up subsequent work days and weeks for success.

You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution of tasks while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering or related and 2+ years of related experience in Construction, or equivalent combination of both
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record
• Travel required; this position requires extensive travel of 50-75%

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key team member supporting all needs to help with a successful project completion
• Start on-site with the crew to ensure they have everything they need for the day
• Perform documentation and record entry for the project and plan for upcoming days and weeks
• Work closely and communicate with Project Managers and Superintendents
