Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project completion from on-site start to planning ahead. You will coordinate with crews and ensure daily needs are met, while handling documentation and scheduling with PMs and Superintendents.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, 2+ years of related experience, and 3-5 years in waste water, concrete, or heavy civil work, with extensive travel (80-90%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience in construction, or an equivalent combination.
• 3-5 years of experience in waste water, concrete, or heavy civil industries.
• Industrial and mechanical background preferred.
• Valid driver license and extensive travel (80-90%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key team member supporting all needs to help with successful project completion.
• On-site day starts with the crew ensuring they have everything for the day.
• Perform documentation and record entry for the project and plan ahead for next days and weeks.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents.
