Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer for foundations in Salt Lake City, UT. This role supports project completion with on-site collaboration, documentation, and proactive planning to set up crews for success.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, ensuring equipment and resources are available daily. The position emphasizes accuracy, communication, and on-site problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associates degree, 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of both.
• Previous experience working on foundations related projects highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key team member supporting all needs to help with a successful project completion.
• On-site with the crew ensuring they have everything they need for the day.
• Perform all required documentation and record entry for the project and plan for the next days and weeks ahead to set the crew and project up for success.
• Work closely and communicate with both Project Managers and Superintendents.
