Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project completion, starting on-site with the crew and ensuring all daily needs are met. You will document and record project activities and plan ahead to keep crews and projects on track. Collaboration with Project Managers and Superintendents is essential.

You should have a relevant bachelor's degree and 3-5 years in waste water, concrete, or heavy civil, plus a valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering or related.
  • 3-5 years of experience in waste water, concrete, or heavy civil.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key team member supporting all needs to ensure successful project completion.
  • On-site with the crew to ensure they have what they need for the day; perform documentation and record entry.
  • Plan for the next days/weeks to set the crew and project up for success; communicate with Project Managers and Superintendents.
