Job summary

Fortress Foundations is seeking a hands-on Foreman to lead concrete foundation crews for residential and commercial projects. You will supervise field operations, coordinate forming, pouring, stripping, waterproofing, and ensure adherence to plans and specs.

Ideal candidates bring strong field experience, decisive leadership, and the ability to keep multiple pours moving safely and efficiently. The role offers a leadership track with an established foundation contractor.

Qualifications

• Prior foreman, lead-person, or crew-lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial foundation construction.
• Willingness and ability to perform physical, hands-on concrete work.
• Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and project specifications.
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume environment with frequent pours.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews on residential and commercial poured-foundation projects.
• Work alongside the crew while directing daily field operations.
• Coordinate forming, pouring, stripping, waterproofing, and related foundation work.
• Read plans, verify layouts, and ensure work meets project specifications.
• Organize labor, materials, equipment, and jobsite priorities.
• Maintain production schedules across multiple fast-moving projects.
• Monitor workmanship, safety, and jobsite cleanliness.
• Communicate with project managers, builders, inspectors, and other trades.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they delay production.
• Train crew members and hold the team accountable for quality and performance.
