Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Concrete Foundation Foreman to lead an on-site crew responsible for pouring and finishing concrete foundations. You will collaborate with project managers to keep projects on time and within specifications.

This role requires at least 5 years of hands-on foundation experience, strong leadership, blueprint reading, and a commitment to safety. On-site work locations include Appleton, WI, with travel within a few hours; salary is

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in concrete foundation construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team in a construction setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to work 40-60 hours per week, depending on project demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the foundation crew, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required specifications
• Plan and coordinate daily activities for the crew, assigning tasks and ensuring proper use of equipment and materials
• Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to ensure accurate foundation layout and installation
• Manage the pouring and setting of concrete foundations, ensuring quality and consistency
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Oversee foundation inspections and address any issues or delays to keep the project on schedule
• Maintain daily logs, including progress reports, crew attendance, and equipment usage
• Communicate with the Project Manager regularly to report on project progress, potential issues, and material needs
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of construction materials
• Enforce company policies and maintain the values and mission of the organization
• Other duties as assigned
