Job summary

Allentown School District seeks a Master Foundations Facilitator (Special Education) to lead autism-focused instructional coaching district-wide. You will support teachers and staff with highly structured, data-driven programming and ABA-based practices, including STAR, DTT, NET, FCT, and PRT, in collaboration with speech-language professionals.

The role requires a Master’s in special education and PA certification with extensive teaching experience in public schools, including autism

Qualifications

• Master's degree in special education or related field.
• Valid and current Pennsylvania Special Education certification; Supervision of Special Education Certificate preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of successful teaching experience in public education (Special Education).
• Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Ability to provide coaching, modeling, supervision, and professional learning to instructional staff.
• Knowledge of ABA, functional communication, structured teaching, and data-based instructional practices.
• Experience with STAR Program, DTT, NET, PRT, FCT, and visual supports; training willingness.

Responsibilities

• Provides instructional consultation, coaching, and support to staff serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
• Oversees and supports fidelity of ABA-based instructional practices and district frameworks (STAR, DTT, NET, FCT, PRT).
• Conducts observations, coaching cycles, demonstrations, and staff feedback.
• Develops, implements, and monitors individualized behavior support plans and reinforcement systems.
• Collaborates with IEP teams and multidisciplinary staff for goal development and progress monitoring.
• Analyzes student behavioral data to guide instructional decisions.
• Facilitates and participates in progress review cycles and data reviews.
• Supports implementation of AAC systems and communication supports.
