Job summary

Rhinolift Foundation Repair in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Foundation Repair Foreman/Production Management Support to oversee and lead our foundation repair crew. You will split your time between assisting the Production Manager and directing field crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The role requires 2+ years in foundation repair or related construction, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with repair techniques and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in foundation repair or related construction with a proven project-management track record.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate, coach, and develop technicians.
  • Deep knowledge of foundation repair techniques including underpinning, slab jacking, pier installation, and soil stabilization.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and safety-focused mindset.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to multiple job sites.
  • OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to oversee and lead our foundation repair crew. The Foundation Repair Foreman/Production Management Support will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of foundation repair projects from start to finish. You will split your time between assisting the Production Manager in overseeing various crews This individual will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in foundation repair techniques, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with the team and clients effectively.

Production Management Support (Superintendent Duties)
  • Act as the primary liaison between the field crews and the Production Manager.
  • Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and job site logistics to ensure projects remain on time and under budget.
  • Conduct site visits to perform quality control audits and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Troubleshoot complex structural issues on-site and provide technical guidance to crew leads.
  • Assist in training new hires and mentoring field staff to maintain Rhinolift's high standards of excellence.
What Will I Be Doing?
  • Lead and manage a team of foundation repair technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess foundation issues, identify repair needs, and develop appropriate repair plans.
  • Utilize a variety of foundation repair techniques and equipment such as hydraulic jacks, helical piers, and stabilizers to address structural problems.
  • Coordinate with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements, timelines, and any concerns or modifications needed.
  • Train and mentor team members on proper repair techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
  • Monitor and communicate project progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship, addressing any issues or challenges that may arise promptly.
  • Ensure that all tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained, organized, and utilized efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and inventory logs.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to management regarding project status, budget adherence, and any notable developments.

Requirements

Do I Have What It Takes?
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in foundation repair or related construction field, with a demonstrated track record of successful project management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team of technicians.

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions.
