Alpha Structural, Inc. in Los Angeles County seeks a Foreman - Lead Structural Repair and Foundation Projects to guide on-site crews on hillside repair, foundation work, underpinning, and seismic retrofits.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on safety, quality, and timely execution. You will read and interpret engineering plans, coordinate materials and inspections, enforce safety policies, and report progress to supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field crews in structural repair or foundation construction.
• Ability to read and interpret structural engineering plans.
• Proficiency in concrete formwork, rebar work, demolition, and carpentry.
• Owns a reliable truck with lumber rack and a full set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and work with field crews to meet daily production targets.
• Execute formwork, rebar, excavation, and demolition safely according to specs.
• Read and interpret engineering plans to ensure field execution aligns with drawings.
• Coordinate on-site materials, tools, equipment, and required inspections.
• Enforce safety policies with tailgate meetings and risk analyses.
• Report progress and escalate discrepancies to supervision.

Job Overview

• Company: Alpha Structural, Inc.
• Salary/Pay Rate: $38 - $45 per hour plus Performance-Based and Annual Bonuses
• Location: Los Angeles County, CA
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM; Saturdays, 7:00 AM-12:30 PM
• Project Scope: Hillside Repairs, Foundation Repairs, Underpinning, and Seismic Retrofits
• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License

You will serve as a vital field leader, guiding on-site crews through complex structural repair and foundation projects. This role gives you the platform to showcase your technical expertise while directly impacting the safety and structural integrity of properties across Los Angeles County. You will drive high-quality execution every day with the backing of a supportive, quality-driven team.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead, direct, and work alongside field crews to achieve daily production targets.
• Execute concrete formwork, rebar installation, excavation, and structural demolition safely.
• Read and interpret engineering plans to ensure field execution aligns with specs.
• Coordinate on-site materials, tools, equipment, and required inspections to minimize delays.
• Enforce safety policies by conducting weekly tailgate meetings and job hazard analyses.
• Report project progress and elevate any plan discrepancies immediately to your supervisor.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience leading field crews in structural repair or foundation construction.
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting structural engineering plans and details.
• Skilled in concrete formwork, rebar work, demolition, and general carpentry.
• Ownership of a reliable truck with lumber rack, and a full set of tools.
• Ability to work comfortably in confined spaces, tight crawlspaces, and outdoor weather.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• 5 or more years of related structural or concrete construction experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
