Job summary

Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall in Newburgh, NY, is seeking a Foundation Operations Associate to manage day-to-day foundation activities, fundraising administration, donor relations, and financial oversight.

You will maintain confidential donor records, prepare reports and communications, liaise with leadership, board members, donors, volunteers, and hospital departments, and support foundation events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, nonprofit management, public administration, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Minimum of three (3) years of fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit administration, healthcare philanthropy, communications, or related experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, and donor communications.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using donor management or CRM software; Blackbaud Raiser's Edge is a plus.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with donors, volunteers, Foundation Board members, hospital leadership, and community partners.
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Foundation operations including fundraising administration.
• Maintain confidential donor and financial records.
• Prepare reports and donor communications.
• Serve as liaison with Foundation leadership, Board, donors, volunteers, and hospital departments.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for Foundation events.
