Job summary

Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall in Newburgh, NY seeks a Foundation Operations Associate to manage day-to-day Foundation activities, including fundraising administration, donor relations, and financial administration.

The role maintains confidential donor and financial records, prepares reports and donor communications, serves as the administrative liaison with Foundation leadership, Board members, donors, volunteers, and hospital departments, and provides event support.

Qualifications

  • BA Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit administration, healthcare philanthropy, communications, or a related professional environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing professional correspondence, reports, and donor communications.
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using donor management or constituent relationship management (CRM) software; experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge is a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with donors, volunteers, Foundation Board members, hospital leadership, and community partners.
  • Valid Driver's License
