Job summary

Ozarks Technical Community College Foundation seeks a College Director of Foundation Operations to lead gift processing, donor data management, financial administration, and governance support, reporting to the Executive Director. This role drives fundraising infrastructure and ensures financial transparency in alignment with the Foundation’s mission.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in foundation operations with nonprofit finance knowledge and experience with Blackbaud/Ellucian systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of progressive responsibility in foundation operations, advancement services, nonprofit administration, or related areas.
• Demonstrated experience with donor databases/CRMs or comparable business and advancement systems.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit financial management, compliance, and best practices in philanthropic operations.
• Knowledge of AI and modern enterprise software landscape.
• Proven ability to manage complex processes, multiple priorities, and cross-functional relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to document procedures, troubleshoot operational issues, and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Foundation operational functions, including gift processing, receipting, acknowledgments, pledge management, fund tracking, and endowment administration.
• Coordinate reporting, recognition, and fulfillment of donor commitments with Foundation development staff.
• Maintain guidance for College partners on fundraising activities affecting scholarships, events, student organizations, and institutional projects.
• Oversee Foundation donor database and systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Coordinate with College finance staff, external auditors, and legal counsel to support audits and financial transparency.
