Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is hiring a Foundation Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair foundations supporting transmission towers, poles, and substations. You will identify defects, perform corrective actions, and support asset reliability while following safety and engineering standards.

The role requires 2+ years in construction or foundation work, reading technical drawings, and a valid driver's license. CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in construction, foundation work, maintenance or utilities.
• Basic knowledge of concrete systems, structural components, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect foundations for transmission towers, poles, and substations for signs of wear or degradation.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on concrete, drilled pier, and anchor-based foundations.
• Execute repairs such as patching, grouting, sealing, underpinning, or reinforcement installation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, maintenance plans, and inspection reports.
• Document site conditions and completed maintenance work.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and crews to execute maintenance plans.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and site safety requirements.
