Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is hiring a Foundation Equipment Operator to support foundation construction for utility power infrastructure, including transmission towers, poles, and substations. Operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, and excavators with strict adherence to safety and engineering specs.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 2+ years on heavy foundation equipment, and a valid CDL Class A.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
2+ years of experience operating heavy or specialized foundation equipment in construction or utility projects.
Valid CDL – Class A is required.
Knowledge of soil conditions, drilling techniques, and foundation requirements.
Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions.
Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

Operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, excavators, and other foundation-related equipment.
Perform excavation, drilling, and soil stabilization for deep foundations and anchor systems.
Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including pre-operation checks and safe operating procedures.
Collaborate with Foreman and crew to ensure proper sequencing of tasks and efficient workflow.
Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.
