Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foundation Equipment Operator (Oncor) to operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers and other foundation equipment in support of utility power infrastructure projects, including transmission towers, poles and substations. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CDL Class A, 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, and a strong safety mindset in line with OSHA and company protocols.

Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy or specialized foundation equipment.
• Valid driver's license and CDL Class A required.
• Knowledge of soil conditions, drilling techniques, and foundation requirements.
• Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, excavators and foundation equipment.
• Perform excavation, drilling and soil stabilization for deep foundations and anchors.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols and conduct pre-operation checks.
• Maintain logs of equipment usage, hours and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Foreman and crew to ensure proper sequencing and efficient workflow.
