Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foundation Equipment Operator to support foundation construction for utility power infrastructure across sites. You will operate drilling rigs, augers, and pile drivers, following engineering specs and safety rules.

The role requires 2+ years of heavy equipment experience, a CDL Class A, and strong teamwork to coordinate with foreman and crew. Willingness to work overtime and outdoor conditions is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy or specialized foundation equipment in construction or utility projects.
• Valid driver’s license and applicable equipment operator certifications.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A
• Knowledge of soil conditions, drilling techniques, and foundation requirements.
• Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, excavators and other foundation equipment.
• Perform excavation, drilling, and soil stabilization for deep foundations and anchor systems.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols including pre-operation checks.
• Maintain logs of equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with Foreman and crew to ensure proper sequencing of tasks.
