Job summary

The UAH Foundation seeks a Manager of Foundations Accounts to ensure accurate accounting and reporting of Foundation funds, including endowments, restricted, and unrestricted accounts. You will work with the Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting to prepare Foundation financial statements for external auditors.

The role involves liaising with the Foundation Board, managing budgets, donor accounts, and audit activities, and supporting annual closings and Form 990 tax filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Advanced accounting knowledge, budgeting skills, and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with accounting information systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate accounting and reporting of Foundation funds and relate to donor accounts.
• Supervise all aspects of Foundation accounting including reconciliations and disbursements.
• Prepare general ledger entries, budget management, and liaison with Foundation Board of Directors.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and monitor funds across endowment and restricted accounts.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support year-end closing and tax filings.
