Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) seeks a Fostering Success Peer Coach to support students in the Fostering Success Program. You will manage a caseload of 10–15 students, maintain regular contact, and help connect them to campus resources and staff within the SET Department.

Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, planning events, promoting program activities, and handling administrative tasks. This is a part-time, student hourly role with up to 15 hours per week at $14/hour.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled at UWSP at least part-time (Minimum of 6 credits).
• Be in good academic standing (Minimum 2.0 GPA).
• Knowledgeable about UWSP resources or willing to learn.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team.
• Ability to support FSP students in 1:1 and small group settings.
• Fostering an open, engaging environment for all students.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with LEAD/FSP Programs Coordinator.
• Engage with a caseload of 10-15 students via in-person/virtual/phone/email.
• Work up to 10 hours per week across SSC office hours and field.
• Plan, promote, market and execute events and outings.
• Coordinate equipment, supplies, and catering for events.
• Complete administrative tasks and document in Navigate.
