Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks a Foster Parent Recruiter and Trainer to identify and train prospective foster parents, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children in care.

The role builds community partnerships, conducts outreach events, screens applicants, and delivers pre-service and ongoing training meeting licensing requirements. The position acts as a liaison between the agency and foster families, guiding through certification and retention support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
• At least 1 year experience working with families, preferably in child welfare.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-service training to prospective foster/adoptive parents and annual training to licensed parents.
• Facilitate trainings to equip caregivers with tools for children with histories of abuse or trauma.
• Provide orientation sessions about Arrow's mission, values, and procedures.
• Develop and deliver additional training modules as required by licensing authorities or agency needs.
• Utilize in-person, virtual, and hybrid training models to meet diverse learning styles.
• Maintain accurate training records and participant feedback in data systems.
• Collaborate with licensing, case management, and clinical staff to keep content current and family-centered.
• Stay informed on child welfare laws and best practices in foster care.
