Job summary

Caritas Family Solutions is seeking a Specialized Foster Home Resource Manager to recruit, license, monitor, and support specialized foster homes across Mt. Vernon, Effingham, or Highland. This full‑time, exempt role reports to the Specialized Foster Home Resource Manager and starts at $60,900 per year.

Responsibilities include conducting home studies, preparing licensing reports, and providing trauma‑informed coaching to caregivers to ensure safe, stable placements for youth with complex needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Experience in foster care licensing or child welfare preferred.
• CWEL and exams required.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home studies, safety assessments, and background checks for foster home applicants.
• Prepare licensing reports, action plans, and renewal documentation.
• Provide ongoing monitoring through visits and case reviews.
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and agency policies.
• Coach caregivers on trauma‑informed care and crisis response.
• Collaborate with treatment teams to support placement success.
• Develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers.
• Lead orientation sessions and pre‑service trainings.
