Caritas Family Solutions in Illinois is seeking a Specialized Foster Home Resource Manager to recruit, license, monitor, and support specialized foster homes, ensuring safety and suitability for youth with complex needs. This full-time role can be based in Mt. Vernon, Effingham, or Highland.

Reports to the Specialized Foster Home Resource Manager and starts at $60,900 annually. Join a mission-driven team serving Illinois families since 1947.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human service or related field required/considered
• Minimum 2 years' foster home licensing or child welfare experience
• CWEL and passing grades on Rule 402 and Child Welfare Act exams

Responsibilities

• Conduct home studies, safety assessments and background checks for foster home applicants
• Prepare licensing reports, corrective action plans and renewals
• Provide ongoing monitoring through visits (scheduled and unannounced)
• Ensure compliance with licensing standards and agency policies
• Coach caregivers on trauma-informed care and crisis response
• Develop and implement individualized support plans for placement success
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to connect families with resources
• Represent programs in workgroups and community partnerships
• Develop targeted caregiver recruitment strategies and conduct orientations
