Job summary

Bethany Christian Services in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Foster Care Family Resource Specialist. You will recruit, assess, license, and support resource homes, administer licensing, investigate complaints with CPS when needed, and coordinate placement plans with Case Managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college.
• Excellent interviewing, perceptual, diagnostic, and family assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, assess, and license resource homes within the program.
• Administer re-licensing including annual evaluations and transitions.
• Investigate complaints relating to resource homes and coordinate with CPS when needed.
• Coordinate placement plans with Case Managers and Bethany supervisors.
• Maintain up-to-date lists of available homes and on-call resources.
