Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a Part-Time Visitation Coordinator for the Children’s Services - Foster Care Program in Allentown, PA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, plus a minimum of three years’ experience working with children in a school, social services or human services setting.
• Strong engagement skills and organizational skills are a must.
• Flexibility in scheduling work hours in order to meet the needs of the clients is a requirement of the position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the family visitation schedule at the Comfort Cottage.
• Facilitate initial/ongoing contact with families and agencies to establish a visitation routine.
• Assist with foster child placement needs and coordinate for children awaiting placement.
• Manage office-related duties such as phone calls, compliance documentation and scheduling meetings to review cases monthly.
