Job summary

Access Foster Care and Adoption is seeking a full-time Foster Care Coordinator to support adolescents and children in foster care provider homes. The role involves regular visits, team collaboration, and crisis intervention in East Stroudsburg with an office base in Bethlehem for weekly meetings.

You will coordinate service plans, monitor safety, and ensure compliance with county/state regulations while traveling within the Lehigh Valley region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in human services, social work, psychology, education or criminal justice.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review individual service plans in collaboration with children and team.
• Coordinate supports outlined in each child’s plan.
• Collect and prepare program and/or individual data.
• Connect individuals to resources and supports in the community.
• Promote Evidence-Based practices and agency philosophies.
• Participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
• Monitor provider homes for compliance with regulations.
• Conduct foster home safety inspections as assigned.
• Assist with orientation for new providers and provide training.
• Oversee referrals, interviews, and matching processes.
• Maintain knowledge of licensing regulations and CAASP principles.
• Coordinate respite care services.
• Supervise visits with child and family as required by court/county.
• Support reunification goals under applicable laws.
