Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• 1 year of case management experience preferred.
• State certifications as required by the program.
• Knowledge of human services principles and child welfare.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Understanding effects of separation, loss, and trauma on children.
• Knowledge of community resources and services.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; may require MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to children in foster care.
• Attend and testify at court hearings as necessary.
• Maintain contact with attorneys, therapists, CASA workers, and other providers.
• Maintain accurate client records and documents.
• Comply with reporting guidelines of the organization and authorities.
• Coordinate treatment plans and attend related meetings.
• Meet with foster parents monthly to ensure proper care.
• Investigate child abuse/neglect per program guidelines.
• Participate in on-call system as needed.
• Assess placement safety and welfare continuously.
• Attend weekly supervision to review cases and planning.
• Collaborate with Licensing and Placement Specialist on concerns.
• Refer foster families to community resources.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements.
